So, more about me, ...

*This is my 39th year in education.

**The bulk of my time in this profession has been spent in the public education, K-12 classroom.

**My first teaching assignments were with at-risk adults (i.e., folks who were on probation, and/or parolees) and with at-risk youth .

*I have three earned California Teaching Credentials, the most recent of which I earned two summers ago (2023).

*I have two earned Bachelors of Arts degrees from San Francisco State University (where I also competed in intercollegiate Judo).

*I earned my Masters degree from the University of Southern California (MS Ed).

I am a member of the California Teachers Association (CTA), where I was elected to represent my chapter (Folsom Cordova Education Association) as a representative in the CTA's State Council, in Spring 2024. I was selected to serve on the CTA's, 'Financing Public Education' committee in July 2024.

My focus has always been on providing the best opportunities for students to earn the highest quality education.

I absolutely believe in keeping the students' parents in the loop, when it comes to their children's education.

I will ALWAYS be mindful that the school board are the stewards of the community's tax dollars and that every penny spent by the school district is an investment toward the future success of our kids and our communities.
